Volkswagen MK7 GTI(2015-2021) Adjustable Rear Strut Bar

There’s no instructions, but easy to install. The cargo hooks came off easy. Just need to fold down the hook if it hasn’t been and use a tiny flat head to pop the plastic cover off from the notch/tab located in the top from the inside of hook cavity. From there, use a triple square m8 socket screw to unblolt the whole cargo hook assembly. Unscrew both prong ends/bungs long enough to be able to position the bar close to the mounting spots. Use the supplied screws to thread and screw in the ends using a 13mm socket wrench. They don’t need to be tightened all the way as you have to turn the bar so it can tighten against the mounts. Tighten and torque the bolts.

The bar is amazing. It does what it’s supposed to do making sharp turns. Refined sharper feel. On top of that, it is practical and out of the way when I need to fold the seats down to load the trunk. Well worth the money.

Overall great quality piece, installation was pretty straight forward and easy.
This piece made the vehicle more predictable while cornering and helps the car turning ability. Well worth the money for the performance and quality

Simple little thing makes the car feel way more sturdy in the corner and not sway the body itself so much it feels so much smoother in the corners.
