Fiesta ST Torque Gusset Traction Bar Installation Guide

Congrats on purchasing the best brace on the market for reducing wheel hop and torque steer! In around 1-2 hours youll have this brace installed and be out enjoying the added traction!

Step 1.) lift your car using jacks or a lift. Make sure to give room to work under the car

Step 2.) locate the two horizontal LCA bolts.

Step 3.) remove these bolts. These can be difficult so a breaker bar or an air impact will help quite a bit

Step 4.) locate the vertical rear bushing bolt for the LCA.

Step 5.) remove these(one on each side)

Step 6.) install the brace and thread the bolts in. You may need to tighten the horizontal lca bolts down before installing the vertical bushing bolts. Get these bolts all tightened down but not torqued yet.

Step 7.) load the suspension by lowering the car onto ramps or blocks. Make sure you do this step carefully and free from the underside to ensure nothing falls on top of you. Ensure the car cannot roll off the ramps or blocks while you work under it.

Step 8.) final torque has to be under loaded suspension. torque the horizontal LCA bolts to 115 ft lbs. torque the vertical bushing bolts to 80 ft lbs

Step 9.) bring the car back down and go enjoy your new brace!

Notes:

-If you get clunking noises, this brace is not likely to be the cause unless you did not follow torque specs. Common other areas for clunking noises are end links, sway bar mounts, sway bar bushings, strut hat bushings, ball joints.

-if you have issues with installation check the TB Performance Products Army Facebook page! There are loads of customers who have installed these parts and can help you out.

-You will NOT need an alignment after this install.
