Learn How to Mount Lightbars, Intercoolers, and Horns to Your Crash Bar!

I get a ton of questions regarding using my universal mounting tabs on our crash bars. It actually is super easy! I designed these tabs with the idea of giving my customers limitless potential to mount anything and everything to their crash bar without fancy tools or welders. Lights, intercoolers, horns, license plates, you name it, it can be mounted!

I recommend using some flat aluminum strap metal that's readily available from your local hardware shop. These usually come in various sizes ranging from 3/4"to 2"...I find that the 3/4" or 1" material of the 1/8" thickness works the best. This material is super easy to cut using basic tools such as a hack saw or Dremel tool. You can easily form brackets to mate with your accessory by bending the aluminum with pliers. Simply drill a few holes with a cordless drill and you'll be set!

With these tabs, youll be able to quickly and effectively mount anything!

What size intercooler could you upgrade to? Looking to go bigger intercooler didn’t know if you knew what size could fit with crash bar.

GR Corolla Front Strut Brace

The strut brace is great, but it needs a few tweaks. The brackets that attach the bar to the strut towers should be redesigned. They interfere with the metal tray under the plastic wiper cowl, and the ability to install the outer 2 clips that hold the plastic wiper cowl to the metal tray below it. The bolts that the strut bar mount to should also be welded about 1/4" closer to the windshield as the bar rubs the engine cover. If that was done in conjunction with a slightly smaller diameter bar that was equally stiff, this would be perfect. It just needs a little work still. It does look fantastic and I love the improvement it makes.

Great looking rear strut brace.

I love how solid the rear strut brace is in my 23 GR Corolla. It looks great but I do wish that the bracket was a lot more stout. It seems flimsy where it bolts the car body. Other than that, it's fantastic.

Great addition

I've been looking for the perfect addition to my corolla sxe hatch to help give a little more stability while driving. My daily commute is out on windy country roads with lots of elevation change and no shoulder/room for error. I've been wanting something to help stiffen the car up, but not break the bank and so far this is a great addition. Installation was pretty straight forward and not very time consuming. Looks great too and doesn't take away from any use of the trunk. I look forward to getting other products for my car in the future.

My wife has a stock 2018 Corolla IM. Nothing is upgraded. I drove it around and tried to zip it through some turns, and it felt squishy. If you sharp left turned it, it would throw you to the right. Vice versa. I was looking for a rear sway bar but had no luck.
Bought this for my wife, installed it, took it for some turns, and wow, this mid brace made a big difference. You can zip through turns easier while feeling like your planted flatter to the ground, and this will be a much safer vehicle now with the better handling from this mid chassis brace.
